What a wonderful , comfortable , spacious house ..... and so conveniently located on the edge of Pont-Aven , which must be one of the very nicest villages in Southern Brittay. The house is very accessible and easy to find for a first time visit and being solidly built and located just on the edge of the village, is nice and quiet but only a short very pleasant 5 minute stroll from the centre with all the shops , cafes , lots of art galleries , bars and restaurants and the very best boulangerie ever that you could want !
The area is blessed with lots of fantastic safe beaches within very short easy driving distances , there are lots of quiet lanes for walking or running or biking through lovely scenery and is ineasy reach of larger towns like Concarneau , Quimper ,Quimperle and lots of other coastal villages for day trips .
The house is very very comfortable with a great big living / dining / kitchen area and a nice big sun room where we took most of our meals in great comfort . The kitchen is very well equipped with all the neccessary modern appliances , as is the utility room with washing machine and drier ... all the stuff you would ever need !!!
The four bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and are all private and quiet ... I slept very well !!! With a bathroom on the first floor and a shower room on the top floor , both modern and well equipped , and plenty of hot water , not to mention a loo in the ground floor utility room there was no queueing and everybody smelled lovely the whole time . All in all , a great house in a great and extremely friendly village ... CAN'tTWAIT TO GO BACK !!!
