“Lovely”
Reviewed July 6, 2012

Came across this on a dull Tuesday. Left with spirits lifted.

We were perhaps. Little early but were positively welcomed and accommodated outside in a small courtyard. There seemed to be two/three other creparies in the area but by the time we left ours was buzzing while others seemed quiet.

Have not much experience of a good crepe, but certainly enjoyed what we had. At 20 euro for 3 plates plus drinks thought reasonable value.

Would return.

“The Perfect Creperie”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

Well-located on the aptly-named Place Du Buerre, I was pleased to find it full of locals on an otherwise quiet Sunday in Quimper.
Savoury ones are buckwheat and were delicious, as were the sweet ones afterwards with a pleasing flambee.
One large bottle of local cider was fine for two of us and we thought €27 very fair.
You've got to go to a creperie when in Brittany and this is a good a choice as any,

“Try the seaweed crepe”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

We were worried that the restaurant may have closed down as we had an old copy of the Rough Guide to Normandy and Brittany. However, it was still there and thriving. It is set in a lovely medieval square near to the cathedral alongside about 4 other creperies. The outside eating area is the actual square and is shared with the other restaurants.

We had the Ouessant crepe with seaweed and smoked duck with honey and goat's cheese crepe. This was washed down with a half bottle of local cider followed by sweet crepes of orange compote with spiced tea loaf ice cream and a rhubarb compote with ice cream. Delicious. We finished it off with a local whisky. The service was good and the location fabulous. The whole meal cost €33 - well worth it.

“Great for crepes in a lovely location”
Reviewed March 21, 2012

Really pretty location in one of Quimper's old medieval squares. Huge choice of savoury and sweet crepes, including some quite unusual ones. My seaweed and onion crepe was delicious (yes,I know it doesn't sound it!). If its a nice day try and sit outside; sat in the sun with a crepe and a glass of local cider is an experience not to be missed.

“Great location and great food”
Reviewed August 12, 2011

Our top tip is: arrive early! By 12:15 lunchtime the inside and outside tables were all taken.
This is a great small creperie using bio flour. This restaurant shares a third of the pedestrianised square with other creperies, creating a lovely intimate atmosphere and just round the corner from the cathedral. The waitresses were pleasant and promptly took our order, which arrived just 5 mins later. We decided to go for the cheese and seaweed galettes washed down with a boule of cider (served with traditional pottery mugs). Galettes on their own or not so filling so we would advise a side salad. For desert we had a crepe with banana, caramel sauce and almonds, which was delicious. In summary, a great small traditional creperie in a super location.
