It was a rainy Monday evening when we arrived in Quimper where, of course, most restaurants close on Mondays. Driving through town, we saw lights on in this small restaurant and decided to take a chance. Great surprise. Mme. Florence, the owner-chef, welcomed us warmly and served great home cooking. A smoked duck salad for my husband and a veal tagine, made with quinoa instead of cracked wheat, for me. We passed on the great desserts but had a great local cheese. Wine was good and the price was very reasonable. A find. Mme. Florence is a charming chef who cooks good food and prides herself on honest cooking and fair pricing. We really appreciated this experience.
