I was most impressed with the self catering unit in the room which was totally unexpected and the lush green garden outside. I didnt manage to get one facing the sea but all the same it was quite lovely and warm ( with outside temperatures at 9 degrees C).

I enjoyed the service particularly the supervisor's effort to translate to me the all French menu- they should consider an English version. The ambience is good and my only let down was the room size which I found to be quite small for my liking.

I would wish to go back in the summer.

This is a lovely hotel. Unfortunately, as we were only passing through and stayed overnight, leaving early the next day most of the facilities were wasted on us which was a shame. I would definitely think of staying again to take advantage of the spa facilities. The rooms are very well laid out, self catering units. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We were woken by the dawn chorus which was delightful!

A great vacation spot when the weather is nice or even if there is a rough storm to watch from the warmth of the hotel. Ensure that book a room with a view of the sea - it is really worth it. This is a good spa with professional and helpful staff. The spa is much like the hotel, great service but there is nothing in the exceptional about the rest. Not to say that anything is bad, it is not. However ,other than the service which is warm and in many ways exceptional, everything is professional and predictable but also rather average. This is true of the food, the wine selection and the rooms - other than the stunning view. All in all a good address but not world class.

Room Tip: Spend the extra money and get a room with a view of the sea!!!

The water and thalasso treatments were well organised and the hotel generally excellent. This is all that needs to be said. Having to write 100 characters is a waste of my valuable time and is utterly annoying.

We stayed one night in the hotel ( 2 adults 2 children) as a stop on our way to our final holiday destination and had an amazing time.
We had 2 connecting superior rooms. The rooms were big, and really well equipped. The beach is just next to the hotel which was ideal with the children. ( have your own buckets and spade with you though as no shops on the beach to buy any)
There is also a creperie right on the beach which does delicious crepes. The breakfast in the hotel was also amazing, and restaurants and bars have seaviews so are very enjoyable. Our chlidren were given toys when eating at the restaurant which they really enjoyed.

I stayed at this hotel fot four nights, with two ground floor Executive rooms. We were staying with my parents-in-law. The Hotel has an excellent and commanding position with fabulous views over the sea and towards Saint Malo. The gardens are well maintained, the parking is adequate.

The first problem we noted was the small size of the rooms. As we were staying with our daughter aged eight, the small room size became more important. I booked this hotel many months beforehand, so the hotel was aware that we had two adults and a child in one room.

Because of the lack of room space, I had to clarify the fact that the rooms were Executive classification. They were. The size was smaller that I have come to expect and experienced of standard rooms in other Accor Hotels.

The problems were encountered were:
1. The air conditioning was not working in either of our two rooms. As the weather was hot, this was important especially at night when sleeping.
2. The bedrooms were not cleaned on a regular basis. As a result, toilet paper was not regularly replaced which meant that I had to get extra rolls from the toilets within the hotel reception area. As the rooms were not cleaned on a regular basis, the bins were not emptied. We had to leave the bins outside our room in the corridor to highlight the fact that the rooms needed cleaning.
3. The Nespresso coffee refills were not replaced. We had two per room. When used we had to seek out further refills. I spoke to the barman in the Albatross bar who was making coffee for the customers. He suggested I speak with the reception desk, who advised me that I should speak with the restaurant staff, who said they had none. Obtaining refills was very difficult and was made worse because checking by hotel staff was infrequent.
4. The evening dinner, booked for the first evening, was very poor. Standards of cuisine had fallen dramatically in this hotel. The breakfasts were good however.

Had the weather not been good the above mentioned problems would have been more important, especially the small size of the Executive rooms. The cost of an Executive room was 290 Euros per night so I would have expected significantly more space. I expressed my disappointment at the room size to the reception staff member who simply shrugged as there was nothing she could do about this. The lack of attention to cleaning, especially as we stayed for four nights, was unforgiveable, resulting in many frustrations, especially the lack of toilet rolls. This is a basic that should have been got right.

I will not be staying here again.

Room Tip: If you wish to book Executive to get more space, ask for ground floor and room 300, which is bigger...
