My husband and I had a three night stay at the Ibis Styles. The positives are that the location is convenient for sight-seeing and the room was clean. However, the room was tiny and the furnishings were almost industrial in style. The nightstand, for example, was basically a small metal stool. The bathroom was functional, but also tiny and cramped. Our stay was during a very cold period in early May and the hotel had turned off all the heat so the rooms were extremely uncomfortable. The staff, with the exception of one evening front desk clerk, was unfriendly to the point that they didn't even greet their guests. I had the sense that even when initially checking into the hotel, we were bothering the staff. When we checked out, there wasn't even a basic "hope you enjoyed your stay" or "have a good day." There is no hotel parking, so you're on your own for that. Regarding "Styles" in this supposed upgrade from just Ibis, our room was decorated with a large picture behind the bed of people bicycling with patterns of what is supposed to be tire tracks across the ceiling. I don't know if this was supposed to be clever or amusing, but I wouldn't attach the term "style" to it.

Dear Customer,
We are sincerely sorry that the theme and decoration is not to your taste, the industrial style is wanted and generally very appreciated, I understand that it does not please everyone, your room like all the others in the establishment is equipped with a thermostat to regulate the temperature of your room, I apologize for the unfriendliness of the staff, know that it is not in our habits to remain indifferent to our customers, we will improve this subject
I hope to have the opportunity to show you the next side of our establishment

I stayed at this hotel when it was an Ibis. Now it is an Ibis styles and very fresh and attractive, right in the centre of town. Parking is in an underground car park nearby (unless there is a marathon on!). We had rooms on the top floor which were smaller than usual. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed here for four nights. We found the hotel to be very comfortable. Our room was very nice. There is a lot of street noise but with the windows closed, it was quiet. The hotel location is near public parking and is near many nice restaurants. There is a supermarket across the street. The hotel provides a great breakfast every morning. We enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel.
The room we had was comfortable no clean, as was the en-suite bathroom.
The room was serviced each day, and clean towels.
The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful.
We were cycling and the staff were helpful and allowed us to lock, our bikes away in their rear service area each night.
Only one negative, no tea/coffee making facilities in room. Would have been lovely to have a drink when you wake up, instead of having to get dressed and go down to breakfast in a rush so you can get a drink!

Room tip: Rooms at the fron overlooking the square I would imagine to be he nicest.

The hotel room was very disappointing after walking in through such a lovely entrance foyer which is so bright, contemporary and attractive.
Lot of noise from traffic if you need the window open.
Rubbish towels.
For all it’s so called ‘style’ as you open the bedroom door you hit the low hanging light shade and someone thought it was stylish to have builders ‘wheel tracks’ pasted across the ceiling.
Far better breakfast than any of the other hotels we stayed in on this trip around Brittany....fruit salad, stewed apple, coffee machine, bread, cake, pancake, cheese, dried apricots, figs, red currant and most amazing a fresh orange juicing machine!
The toilet by the restaurant smells disgusting.
The staff at reception gave us wrong advice about charges for the car park. We were told it was 3 Euros a day. It cost 18 euros and was only in there for 25 hours.
