I hope not... Because this is what people want. It is small and simple but beautiful and welcoming. Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location with walking distance to everything in the city. Stay here and explore Brest and Finistere for as long as you can,,, Enjoy!

Great hotel! Fanny (spelling?) from the reception was very welcoming and nice. She was able to give my sister and I a room upgrade and the room was absolutely amazing! Large bed, large room, large windows and large bathroom! plenty of room, we were very spoiled! great location, walking distance to all restaurants and shops. parking was a bit of a challenge but we managed. I am very satisfied with our stay at this hotel! Thank you!

We are a military family and stayed at the hotel for 47 days while we were moving (Oct 2013-Nov 2013). We started out in the apartment (two pictures are of the apartment) and then were moved to other rooms because of our extended time. We had an excellent stay - the staff are very nice, helpful, and the location is great. The hotel is blocks away from the tramway for extended travel around the city. The staff is very knowledgeable, appreciated for us being new to the city. Highly recommend this hotel!

Room tip: We stayed in the apartment, which faced the street but we heard no noise thanks to the windows and blinds. We also stayed in a trio of rooms at the back of the hotel, very, very quiet.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel. Clean and cheap. Nice and helpful staff. The room was large, bed a bit old but still ok. A lot restaurants around. The breakfast in fine for the price and they serve very early.

Our second extended stay here in the past two years, I can highly recommend it. Right in the center of Brest, it's about 2 blocks from Rue de Siam and Rue Jean Jaures (where the best shops tend to be located) and next to the SNCF train terminal, yet there is no traffic noise. The hotel faces a park and there are restaurants, cafes, pizza places and bars close by, including the new tram. If you come by car, on-street parking is plentiful. Opposite the train terminal next to the park you may be lucky to find a spot in an area of free 24-hour on-street parking. The desk staff all speak English with enthusiasm. They are completely service oriented and ready to help and advise on just about anything. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean. Rooms sizes vary (some quite spacious) and have high ceilings and large windows that open. I can't attest for all the rooms, but the ones I noticed were decorated like ours, with unique furnishings including chandeliers, wall sconces, draperies, writing table, bedside tables and deep chair. Our bed was huge, firm, and comfortable with crisp linens. Bathroom had modern fixtures, hair dryer and even a magnifying mirror. Wi-Fi is strong and stable throughout. This is "2-star" hotel under the French rating system, but that is a good indicator for a small hotel.

Room tip: My only caution is that if you prefer to sleep in a seriously dark room, request a room not facing the front, because there is a bright street lamp out there.
