After a last minute search for a restaurant, we stumbled across Le Thai Laos on an off side street. The street view is deceptive to the great food, decor, and service inside! Our group of six tried the ravioli soup and the mixed sampler platter for a starter. Lots of flavor in every item! For the plats we had Pad Thai, Beef French Onion Saute, Garlic and Pepper Saute, Picante Beef, and Spicy Sweet/Sour Pork. Plats ranged from 9 - 11 euro with the most expensive being a Mixed Seafood platter at 15 euro. We also opted for a dessert with a variety of ice cream / sorbets. Two of the surprisingly delicious desserts were the beignet of a whole banana served with whipped cream and a coconut sweetened rice served with fresh mango. The perles de coco dessert was not as much coconut as a slightly undercooked dumpling that was just not to our taste. Service was warm and impeccable. A return visit will be soon!
