After 1 week of eating in Spain including Alzak,we were not expecting much for a quick lunch. The food was very good & extremely reasonable(25e for the menus of the day).i had the chicken & my wife the fish both excellent.I agree with other writers that the building was fabulous with some artwork to provide a modern touch.

After walking around St J de Luzon all day, we wondered about heading over to Spain for some super pinxtos, instead we walked by this lovely place as we headed towards the ocean front on the cobbled pedestrian streets. In a beautiful old building, modernised, but just enough to give it an up to date feel, yet very much in keeping with the surroundings we felt invited by the interesting but simplistic menu (and decor).
We had never heard of Kaiku, so we're surprised how good the food was, and a 3 course lunch menu for EUR25 what a great value! I actually went a bit further and took the Foie Gras which had a supplement but was excellent and you could feel the regional cooking, fresh fish and a sort of apple turnover, but much better.
All in alla very nice surprise. The service was not fantastic, the waiter less than interested and barely accommodating but I didnt really expect more from what I was worried might simply be a tourist trap.
Def one to revisit.
