Beautiful views on one side, beautiful buildings on the other. Runs for a mile or so from Chateau to Park

I almost missed this--so unusual to have the view be a mountain range. I loved the feeling of being in a real city on one side of the road, and then natural beauty on the other.

I usually take a break from shopping in the centre and stroll along the promanade and either have a cold drink at one of the lively cafes or more towards the chateau a cup of tea relaxing in a deckchair at the tearoom.

The boulevard is pretty, hanging over some real old (15th century looking houses) and then overlooking the river, and then ending where Henry 4 castle begins. We got there a bit late. The castle was closing. We had the chance to see the garden and the great courtyard. The place is real pretty. you might like to see it at night too--there are nice light shows on the walls of the castle. And the restaurants around are good too.
