Been coming to this pizzeria for a number of years. Last year ownership changed ( would have been 4-5 star before only let down by being too busy at times), all waiting staff seem too have jumped ship ( most are now at restaurant opposite. Prices have increased and pizzas are not as good as before. Restaurant much less busy - people voting with their feet?

I had the set 3 course meal for 22euros: goats cheese salad, steak and lovely chips followed by ice cream. Huge portions and lovely quality. Would highly recommend the Jurancon wine and my daughter said the Duck in the honey sauce was the best meal she had ever eaten!

We went there on St Valentine's night without a reservation and were happily invited in. All other restaurants had increased their prices dramatically as it was St Val's - not L'Etna. They were very busy and yet we got served quickly. Daughter enjoyed her Spaghetti Bolognese, hubby and I both had a massive steak and chips (ffrites) and a coke and a jug of house red (75cl of very nice wine) cost 30 euros. We asked for the steak to be Medium but was a bit red. Maybe best to ask for well done next time! Massive servings. Very attentive staff. Near the Chateau of Henry IV. Has an upstairs so worth checking if they have spaces even if it looks full. We will return

Wish I had read reviews before easting. We had lunch here. Three pizzas and a salad - all adequate food, but not great. Service prompt but not attentive.

Value for money poor, but location good.

L’etna looks good from the outside. It is on a corner position on the road up to the Blvd de Pyrenees. The side street past the restaurant opens out into a small intimate square, populated with bars and restaurants. Walk past these and you are onto the street overlooking the moat of the château. It is all very picturesque.
The welcome in l’etna was warm and enthusiastic. It looks good. It is a pizza and pasta place but is wood and quality fittings. I ordered the vegetarian pizza. When it arrived it had three large slices of ham sticking out from it. I queried the vegetarian nature of this. They apologised and took it away. It arrived back a few minutes later. I thought it rather quick to produce a new pizza. My luck had just run out.
The pizza topping was well-done toasted mozzarella, except where three chunks of ham had been there was now soft, warm and hardly melted mozzarella. The pizza was disguised with the addition of six lukewarm black olives.
The idea of customer care in this restaurant is appalling. This was the cheapest, most tawdry trick I had seen in many years. It was absolutely disgusting behaviour. If this is what they do in front of your eyes, what the hell do they do behind the scenes? Hygiene in this restaurant, in my opinion, is absent. I would not let a dog eat here because of the ignorant and off-hand way I was treated.
On the other hand, you are perfectly free to choose this place if you wish.
