There are many caves and geological finds in this area of France. The best part of this visit was the initial movie, giving the history of Laugerie Bass. Many big finds have come from here. The first part of the tour, the cave of stalactites and stalagmites was interesting but small compared to others in the area. The guide decided to speak French, even though 9 of her 13 guests spoke English. The one couple spoke German, but he understood French and translated to his wife. You were given an info sheet in english(common in this area) and told to read it quick, as the cave was dark and you wouldn't be able to do so in there. The second part of the place was an "exhibit" of their archeological dig. Which was a hokey rendition of how they believe primitive man lived and a few pictures of the animals they probably hunted. In other words, terrible. Don't waste your money on this one, as the other caves in the area are much better.
