This time it was summer so we were able to sit in the pleasant small courtyard, and we took a friend. We ordered two large salad meals and the chaxobili for Robin. This is the chicken dish I had on our previous visit. Our friend had a large meze salad at 12 euros and I had the special Kristo salad at 12.50. This had more Armenian specialities and I particularly appreciated the little stuffed aubergine rolls. We had rather a wait though we only saw one other couple, and once again we regretted that there was only French bread instead of the flat bread we would have preferred. However, the meal, over all, was very enjoyable. We shared a bottle of Armenian wine, two frommage blanc and three café gourmand (with a delicious honey & nut pastry roll) for 68 euros in all. My friend preferred this meal to the much more expensive dinner we had had in Périgueux the previous evening. We will definitely go again.
