“Comfortable with friendly and excellent service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

Located within easy walking distance to Port Vieux, Port de peche and centre ville, with a huge choice of restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful, speaking English and Spanish.
Rooms are air conditioned with free wifi available. Decore and room layout were more than adequate for my needs.

This small and friendly hotel is perfectly situated in proximity for the seafront, shops, bars and restaurants of Biarritz. The room was a good size and beautifully decorated and the bathroom had a large powerful shower

We stayed as part of a Backroads Tour group. Staff were ready to assist as soon as we arrived. The room was small, but perfectly adequate and in close proximity to a small beach and local shops. Would recommend if you like smaller personal type accommodation.

On arrival I was not sure as to if I had made the right decision, as the room seemed small, do not let this put you off as once settled in we appreciated, how clean and comfortable the room was. It had a great shower room with separate wc. We requested a quiet room and was given room 303 which was at the rear, I dont think the other rooms were particularly noisy but after reading reviews I thought it best to request.
It is in a fantastic location close to the beach and all the local bars and restaurants. The owners were so very helpful, we did not try breakfast as we are not morning people but you will be spoilt for choice on where to eat although you need plenty of euros to visit this resort, we felt it was well worth it.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and resort and want to say a thank you to the owners who made our stay so enjoyable.

I stayed here in August with my girlfriend. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the centre of town, close to the beach, bar and restaurants. Its a fairly quiet and unassuming place, with simple, fairly tasteful decor and clean rooms.

Our room was was on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel, with a small courtyard area. The rooms are pretty tiny, but clean, comfortable and with a decent bathroom.

The hotel itself is probably a solid 3 star, but for the location and reasonable price (by Biarritz standards anyway) take it up to a 4 overall.

Room Tip: Rooms out back are very quiet - given central location i'd imagine rooms at the front of the hot...

The staff here couldn't have been more helpful. They went out of their way to help not only us but other guests I observed requiring help too. Spotlessly clean, perfect location. Not the cheapest but if you can afford it, well worth it.

Hotel facilities - bar is quiet and at the reception so it's more of a foyer and not much atmosphere. Terrace is lovely but seems to be outside two rooms so not sure what the arrangement is there. WiFi is free all over the hotel, including in rooms, plus there's a pc to use in the foyer. TV is great and has BBC World and CNN. There's also a baggage area where you can leave your bags after checking out, which is free.

Staff - really lovely and friendly.

Room - really clean and comfortable, nicely decorated. The air con was slightly noisy but we slept okay. The toilet in our room (room 101) was in a separate room to the bath/sink room and didn't have a fan or a window. That bathroom was lovely but the shower was really low and placed so it was a bit cramped. Also the shower door didn't cover enough so the floor always got soaked. The bathroom was really clean with lovely towels and nicely decorated - looks like it was done up recently. From our balcony, you could see the sea to the right, which was lovely. Our room was on the 1st floor right over the street, though once the doors to the balcony were closed, it was quiet enough, plus although it's on a busy street, it's at the quiet end. We saw other hotels that were right over bars playing really loud music.

Location - really near to a lovely beach and also centrally located so really ideally located. Just outside the door, you have the loads of cafes, bars & shops. For a nice breakfast, there's a place called the Royal something that does a nice continental breakfast outside with great service for only €6.80 although be warned that if you get another coffee it's €4. Breakfast in the hotel is €12.50, so we went out instead and so I can't say which is better.

Parking - there's none in the hotel but there is a carpark nearby if you can navigate the narrow one-way streets and find it. We ended up parking miles away. Definitely get a map with carparks marked so you don't have the stressful time we had when we arrived.

Value - we paid €180 for 1 night and booked last minute (2 days before). It is over-priced but it seems like all the hotels are over-priced in Biarritz.

Room Tip: The higher the better as you're away from the street but make sure you get a balcony.
