My husbandandI mostly take a break either in france or italy. We have been lucky enough to stay in some beautiful locations and meet lovely people but this hotel exceeded all expectations. From arrival to departure the staff were very professional . The breakfast is delightfully peaceful and the restaurant was superb.we will definately make a return visit

Very good hotel in central Biarritz with a view to die for. its located on Place Clemanceau high up over the south-western end of the Grand Plage, within simple walking distance of the restaurants on Rue Gambetta, the old port, the fishing port and those at the end of Avenue Verdun. The rooms, which all have plaza and sea views and come with free wifi, are extremely clean, well maintained and modern and very spacious - very good places to relax, we had a room without a balcony, but larger rooms with balconies are availalble. Breakfast was an extended French buffet with a good selection of cheese and ham to go with the fabulous pastries, bread etc and great coffee - they even had a token scrambled egg and bacon section to accommodate the Anglo-Saxons! Being a city centre hotel, parking is not onsite, but in commercial car parks, the nearest one of which is Bellevue, a sub-terranean one just outside the hotel's front entrance - be prepared for the 14 Euro per night on this one. Also note that there is no elevator to street level here, so you will need to carry luggage up 2-3 flights of stairs (or ask for hotel help) at the top of the car park. Staff were courteous and professional at this hotel - overall a very good place to stay and recommended.

Room Tip: No obvious hints here - all rooms come with the sea-front view. Room rates reflect size of room and availability of balcoy, terrace etc.

We stayed here in October expecting it to be cold and windy and very bracing.....but in fact it was very warm ! This hotel has the best location/position here in Biarritz. Our bacony was huge with sunbeds and looked out over the sea.The room was a little smaller than i expected but comfortable beds and clean. Service was very helpful and pleasant.

Room Tip: Pay the extra and have a seaview balcony

The best boutique hotel I've ever stayed in. Clean, well appointed, comfortable bed and each room has an ocean view. Fantastic restaurant downstairs. Centrally located. 3 minute walk to the beach due to a winding staircase down to the ocean that is lined with beautiful flowers. Surrounded by great restaurants. Biarritz is one of my favorite destinations in the world.

Our first visit to Biarritz, so not sure what the other hotels are like, but if I return I will be staying at the Hotel Cafe de Paris again. Really friendly and helpful service, the receptionist recommended two great restaurants for dinner, so it's worth asking.

The hotel is in a great location, near to shopping, bars, restaurants and the beach with parking very close by.

Our room was fabulous, clean and bright and modern with large and comfortable bed and funky bathroom, the sea view was the icing on the cake.

Really loved this hotel and would highly recommend. It wasn't cheap, but worth the money.

Room Tip: We had a room without a balcony, but with the windows opening up fully, I'm not sure you'd need to pay the extra.
