I came here twice and really enjoyed it both times.
The food was well priced and you get what you pay for. I had their menu both times. All the dishes I had were excellent but simple, just what you would expect for 14 and 21 euros.
It's a very lively atmosphere. The first time I went, there was a guitarist playing classic French songs and half the restaurant joined in, it was absolutely hilarious!
The service was good, I certainly wasn't expecting top service at a place like this but the staff were nice and we got what we asked for.
It's a fun night as a couple or a group.

It was our second night in Bordeaux and had had a long day wandering around the city and just wanted somewhere to eat that was not at all stuffy with some good basic grub. We had passed this place the night before and thought it looked fun.
We shared the fois gras and both had the cassoulet for mains. Good tasty but quite simple fare reasonably priced. A bit slow but the waiter explained that they were a little understaffed for the numbers that had turned up on a Monday night. (at least they were open). Other reviews seem a bit up and down but our experience was good.

During a fantastic long weekend in Bordeaux, my wife and I had the worst ever meal experience we have ever had, at this establishment. Rude staff, who were more interested in going outside for a smoke than serving their clients, food was terrible,
Cold on arrival and when it came back it was microwaved, meat was tough, salad was bland and not clean, just disgusting.
We both felt sad that other people would try this place and waste their hard earned money.

Unfortunately we had the worst experience in this restaurant, rude staff especially a skinny dark coloured girl who left us waiting for ages and when we enquired over menu she impatiently threw her hands in the air in disgust, walked over to another table and proceeded to take their order! Horrible individual who lacked customer service and manners! Again we were left waiting. Food not nice, basic. All around one of my worst restaurant experiences.
