“lovely night view but a bit too old-style for me”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

A typically good food, good service place. No risk, no surprise. Good for sober business or family dinners. Convenient for people with cars, adulterous couples and the like :)

“Le Cafe Du Port - Great Restaurant on the River in Bordeaux in Bastide District”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Le Cafe Du Port is a river side restaurant, 50 meters south of the Pont Pierre, on the Bastide side of Bordeaux. Outdoor and indoor seating with magnificent, post card, views of Bordeaux, the Bridge and trams rolling across the bridge. Very good food and service. The 3 course lunch menu at 17 Euros is delicious and a winner. Based on location, food, service and value, Le Cafe Du Port is one of two favorite restaurants in Bordeaux.

“Good food and an amazing view!”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

It's the third time I go to this restaurant and I like it every time even though it is touristic. The place is lovely, the view on old Bordeaux and particularly the Pont de Pierre is beautiful. The service is not impeccable because of the huge flow of customers, but satisfying. I will go back again because it's the perfect place to take people visiting Bordeaux.

“Great views”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Booked early and got a wonderful table in the annex in the corner so had 2 windows which gave uninterrupted views. The service was ok although not all dish options were mentioned and the table next to us were given additional menu. The food was pleasant but for the money not the best we've ever had. However, nothing disappointed and we had an enjoyable time.

“Fantastic food on an amazing view”
Reviewed May 11, 2013 via mobile

We were suggested this place by our B&B host and it met our expectations 100%. We didn't book but we still got a very good table close to the window with an amazing view on the Garonne and the illuminated city. Then we hat oysters and a fish "cocotte" as a starter and then 2 different types of fish as a main. The portions were very generous but also very tasty. Service was very friendly and efficient. We had a very good time.
