Just spent the night here en router to Biarritz .Not as we expected-our suite was Ok and clean, but plain white sheets and nothing else, so don't be charmed by all the designer chic photos they show! That said it was practicle. As no Air Con we had to have the windows open and the. Noise was terrible all night, we hardly slept at all. Location is good, 10 minute walk to station where you can get trams into centre.
Our problem was the parking. We happily paid the 8 euros for the gated car park only to be told we had to park underground- above ground was residents only. We have a Renault Scenic with a roof box which would not fit, so we were unable to use it. Would not recommend parking outside the car park, the area is not good! Luckily for us a resident took pity on us and gave us her space while she put her car underground. So do beware if you have anything other than an average car.
Lastly, if you wanted to self cater, you would barely get by and there is no kettle- they supplied us with 1 frying pan, 1 colander , 7 plates and 2 knives and forks! Oh, and a whisk!

Room Tip: We had a good view from the 5th floor.

The rooms are small but clean, price is very reasonable but unfortunately there is no air conditioning what is very uncomfortable in summer. The area seems to be quite dangerous but the bus stop is very close to the building. In every room is small mini-kitchen with fridge. You have to pay extra for breakfasts. Affordable place for tourists who don't want to pay a lot.

Had a room for three people. Was spacious and a 10 minute walk to the train station and about a 15 minute walk to central Bordeaux. Only problem is it does get a little hot in the summer. Was a good cheap find.

Three of us stayed in Bordeaux for two nights and Teneo was a great find. We paid £78 a night in total (£26 each) and was worth the money. The location is good, a ten minute easy walk to the station where you can get trains to St Emilion and where the shuttle from the airport will drop you off and pick you up.. about 15 minutes walk to the city centre or a 2 minute tram to the city centre.

The rooms are incredibly spacious, two double beds in two separate rooms, a sink plenty of cutlery, mugs, cork screws, surplus bedding etc. The bathroom was a good size as well. Unless you stay for a week there isn't a cleaning service available so towels became dirty etc.

The elevator had broke so walking up three flights of stairs with heavy luggage wasn't ideal. The breakfast served by reception looked so basic that we assumed it was free- it wasn't and was 7 euros per person. It's probably not worth it- just continental. Reception staff are mostly helpful, at times a little abrupt. Bad smells in reception. No air conditioning but big windows allow for a decent breeze. Quiet during the evening but the area seemed a little shady- be careful when walking back late at night.

Arrived at Teneo 19:30 14 July 2013, dog feces on street (but then that seems standard in Bordeaux),, smell of garbage in reception, and no air conditioning in any rooms, only common areas. No A/C in city that gets into mid 30C during summer. Room awful, looked like the apartment exhibit we'd seen at the DDR museum in Berlin, in fact that room was better!!!. Left within 30 minutes of arriving, how anyone could sleep in that heat is beyond us. Truly an awful experience.
