This flat was in a great location in the old town. Every where was easily accessible. The flat was lovely and bright and very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were great too. Would recommend to family and friends.

Lovely location right in the heart of the old town: surrounded by restaurants and niche market shops (the baker just round the corner makes great Tarte au Basques and breakfast croissants). Five minutes walk to the Bourse with its fabulous Water Mirror, 20 minutes from the railway station that gives you great access around the region.
The apartment has a lot of character that only comes from such an historic building with high ceilings and quaintly shaped rooms fitting into a corner overlooking a junction of pretty cobbled backstreets: on the first floor up a spiral staircase. Jacques and his partner were helpful and friendly. They warned that the streets might be noisy with people going home from their night out but there were double-glazed outer windows with the traditional windows and shutters inside. We didn’t have any problem keeping them open overnight although each day we heard the street cleaners doing their rounds which made for clear, clean streets each morning.
The kitchen is well-equipped with coffee maker, juicer, microwave etc. We found the washer/dryer useful as it saved on packing. Only one thing we couldn’t find was a chopping board but there were plenty of plates as substitute and if you ever wondered where all your teaspoons disappeared....maybe they came to Bordeaux because there was plenty of everything we needed :)
The bed was comfy but basic. I’m not used to sharing, so any movement woke me as the bed didn’t really absorb the disruption. I didn’t try it but there was a sofa bed as well. The wardrobe was massive with plenty of hangers. There was a lot of drawer space too. As I love my tech I must also say that the wifi was excellent too.
All in all, a brilliant centre for a Bordeaux visit - I’d go back tomorrow in a heartbeat.
