A lovely hotel in a beautiful street in the heart of the city. We arrived at midday on bikes and we were able to leave our bikes and pannier bags while we went sight-seeing all afternoon. The room was cute and clean and the breakfast the next day was super. Good value too.

Its location is unbeatable as in its immediate vicinity, an array of good restaurants await your visit. Plus the city's main emblematic squares, churches, jardin public as well as the Office of Tourism, an obligatory starting point for anyone visiting Bordeaux are all within walking distance. The hotel oozes in charm which more than makes up for the room's small size. A lovely breakfast (including fresh OJ) is served on the patio for an additional 9,90 Euros, but well worth it. Friendly and courteous staff.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room if you travel with heavy suitcases, as otherwise, you'll have to sch...

We loved our stay at this hotel. We booked it via the Logis sites and were a little worried when we arrived. It's very small on the outside and nothing special. When we went upstairs we did find that the room was tiny but I believe that's expected in Bordeaux. The thing that made the experience so fantastic was the friendly staff and great breakfast.

Room Tip: I would put the money up for a room in the garden.

I have heard the word charm used about this hotel by several reviewers. It has some with its attractive street front, cheerful reception area, and smiling helpful desk girl. However, though billed as a three-star on some sites, and on the building, it is more like a good two-star and priced a bit high, considering it also sometimes calls itself a B&B but does not include breakfast in the price. The rooms are tiny even by French standards, and our bathroom was even smaller. I could not close the door if I sat frontwards on the toilet. I had to sit sideways--not very comfortable. The bathroom was also rather dated and showed some rust in the tile grout around the shower. You have about two feet on each side of the bed, if that, and the space at the foot is not much more. Some of the space problem is alleviated by the balconies most rooms have, but really the amount of space is tight, and we are used to smaller rooms. The room is nicely decorated with cheery sponge and rag painting, and pleasant prints hung on the walls. The floors are a rustic hardwood and have a cleaner feel than the dowdy carpet one often finds in small hotels. My biggest complaint is that I thought that without an elevator, a French hotel cannot earn three stars. Hauling bags up two flights of stairs to the first floor was not what I expected.. On the plus side, it is clean. The location is good, convenient to the historic centers, several restaurants, and somw good cafes that provide a decent breakfast for about 3 or 4 euros cheaper than the hotel serves. I would say this place is good for a night or two if you don't mind the stairs, but the cuteness and charm attributed to it, though evident, were not enough to make me recommend it without serious reservation

We booked this hotel out of others in Bordeaux for being a small, frenchy looking and feeling hotel. We got that, but i have to say the room was a bit too small (we had a garden bedroom), even though the furniture, walls and bathroom had a great calm, relaxing, french feeling, but also modern and very clean. Another negative aspect was that the hotel price didnt include breakfast, but as far as we could see (we had to cross the breakfast room from the garden to reach the exit of the hotel), breakfast wasnt that big of a feast, and so we'd be very mad if we had paid extra for 1 croissant 1 piece of bread and some cereals. On the bright side, the location of this hotel is great, easy to walk around the city center with restaurants, and croissanteries nearby for a great breakfast and a few minutes walk from the airport shuttle bus stop at Place des Quinconces. I'd try to find a better deal (the hotel rate wasnt that cheap for a small bedroom and no breakfast...) should i go back to Bordeaux, even though there's nothing wrong with the hotel, but breakfast included is always a bonus i look for while booking an hotel.

We stayed in this charming little hotel for one night on a quick stop over in Bordeaux and found it to be exceptionally good for a 2 star hotel. Our accommodation was in one of the clean and simple garden rooms, which while small, was perfectly adequate. The room was was well presented, the bed was comfortable and the shower room was spotless. What more could you want for a very inexpensive hotel in a prime location in Bordeaux? Breakfast in the morning was the standard French non cooked fayre, nothing imaginative but absolutely fine to send us off on the next part of our journey, fed and watered for the morning. Parking on the street was not advised so we had a bit of a detour finding the public parking spaces, my advice would be to park in one of these first and walk to the hotel thereafter. Great value for money and a pleasant stay.

We had a nice three night stay in this hotel. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We sprung for the 10 euro breakfast, but its the french breakfast which is similar to our continental breakfast. It was convenient due to the lack of coffee available nearby or in the hotel room. The area was a ten minute walk north of center city where the majority of cafes and stores are, but there were a variety of restaurants on our street and around the block. We loved the wine and cheese place just up the street with a cheese cave and excellent wines. We also liked the indian place two doors away. The public garden and Palais Gallien are very close by as well. We noticed that we could hear people walking around on the level above us, but that ceased when they went to bed, so it wasn't a problem. This hotel seems to have a lot of French travelers so it was very quiet. We would stay here again
