We saw Tante Charlotte while strolling round the old pedestrian historic centre, and thought it looked great. The decor is modern, in gentle dove shades with soft candle-light. It's a good idea to book, as there are not many tables, and it was completely full by mid-evening. Yet there was no sense of rush or fluster. Arnaud-Olivier is utterly charming and welcoming. He clearly takes enormous pride in his restaurant, and gives a great deal of time and attention to helping diners make their choices. The menu options are superb, and we both enjoyed the dinner very much. The food was very good, and beautifully prepared and presented. The magret the canard was excellent, as was the smoked salmon which was served in an exceptionally generous portion. We chose a complete menu option, and were amazed at the good value involved, as it included aperitif, several courses, and wine options. Relaxed ambience, great music. Highly recommended.
