This place is a little bit out of town. Take tram C to stop Paul Doumer and down a nondescript side street is this restaurant, in a non-threatening area.
I expected a rustic, homely, bistro type place, where you are crowded together. Boy! I was wrong. A light, airy, clean, well-appointed restaurant with an efficient, pleasant waitress. And the food!! The menu is changed weekly for fresh produce-and it was! This is a chef who knows his trade and who cooks superb, well-balanced,flavoursome dishes. My wife opted for the salmon and declared that it was as good as that I cook for her at home!!
This was the best restaurant of our Bordeaux holidays. All the dishes were of excellent quality. I cannot recommend too highly.

What a wonderful place! Small, a little hard to find, but great atmosphere and such good food! We had a wonderful dinner, truly great, at a very reasonable cost, and we will certainly be back. One of our best dinners in a long time, and a lot better than Gordon Ramsey's place in the centre (at half the cost)!! Go, go!

A delicious menu of freshly and beautifully prepared French food. Not a huge choice ,3 starters, three mains and various puddings but well worth a visit.

Very pleased to dine here again tonight. I think the chef must have access to a time machine because his dishes are so full of wonderful fresh tastes. Service excellent and with a smile. Take care to book because this restaurant is very popular with locals and it would be a shame to miss such a culinary treat.

The name perfectly describes the atmosphere and the people running this bistro. Attractive formula at 33 euro (starter, main, dessert). Tuna as starter, Canard and the tarte with caramel and nuts were delicious. The only small concern I could raise is about the liquors, I would have expected something homemade or typical. Absolutely recommended.
