“Bordeaux's Centrepiece”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

A photographer's delight is this most famous Bordeaux attraction. The area is spectacular especially at night and a good starting point for scenic walks into the pedestrian old city or along the river Garonne's bank. Play with your image in the popular "water mirror". Also notice the tram station platform reduced to its simplest expression so as to remain elegantly invisible.

“New emblematic place of Bordeaux”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

This place has to be visited. It's one of the most beautiful city places in Europe, thanks to the architecture from XIXth century.

“One more beautiful view of this 'class act' city ...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

after the uber 'glitz' of the dubai fountains, it was novel and refreshing to see this almost accidental infinity pool / fountain, even though it wasn't doing its water show whilst we were there. there was a couple having their wedding shots done , and the reflected images are some of the nicest shots of 'people we've never met and will never get to know' so far this trip. The archetecture around this plaza is handsome and even with throngs of folks milling about seems big enough for ALL to enjoy. When i think of cities with 'a million eyes looking at you' for years to come I will think of BORDEAUX, its statues and facial friezes above so very many doorways!

“Amazing - but a bit unlucky with the weather”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013 via mobile

This a very impressive sight. Sadly it was quite windy and cloudy when I was here, expect it to be awesome in different weather conditions. Was back after dark, absolutely recommendable.

“Grand architectures with a magic water mirror”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2013

Place de la bourse is a place to slow down your rhythm, just sit on the bench in the square to relax, admiring the grand buildings surrounding you, feeding the birds, watching the people and the Tram passing by. What a lovely time to spend. The water mirror is just magical. especially, when the mist rises, it feels like you are in a fairyland. What a clever design for the ancient city Bordeaux!
