It is an old hotel. However the room was clean and large...no carpet..which I prefer.
Updated bathroom .the breakfast was really good. Fruits cheeses meats eggs lovely breads. Otherwise it would be more expensive eating breakfast out.A 10 minute walk to the old historic area.

Stayed here for 2 nights and happy to recommend, the reception staff were helpful and friendly, the room was small but clean and the bed comfortable. The rooms are circa 1970 with old bathrooms and ancient phones but this made it feel quaint.
We had breakfast, paying extra but it was good and filling at a reasonable price.
It is a decent walk into the city itself but that was not an issue for us.
The on-site parking is a real bonus for such a well located hotel in a city.
Would stay there again

Room tip: Rooms at the front get to hear the loud chimes from the church from early!

Everything was right as expected for the price we paid, which was less than most other hotels we could find in the city. The front desk personnel was friendly and courteous. The room and the bathroom clean. No fridge but that's ok. We took the room for just sleeping 1 evening. A bit far from the city center, so if you are visiting/working in Bordeaux for an extended number of days, it may become tiring.

Our room in hotel Le Chantry was very good, we had 3 single beds which were comfortable. The size of room was not very big, but it was o.k. for short stay. The personal in the reception was nice and polite.

Room tip: Tripple room with private bathroom

Well appointed hotel about ten minutes walk from central Bordeaux. Quiet location and comfortable bedroom with ample storage space, good bathroom and excellent cleanliness throughout. Very helpful friendly staff.
