We went to Le Wine Bar to experience their wine selection knowing it would be a light dinner. We weren't looking for a three course French repast. Seated at the bar (reservations are a good idea) we enjoyed several outstanding selections that highlighted the diversity of great Bordeaux (although they offer selections from most regions - their wine list is extensive), alongside simple and tasty small plate preparations - a caprese salad and a plate of southwest creations (pâté, duck, etc). "Dessert" for us was a glass each of a Maury and a Gewurtztraminer. Great for sharing which makes this a fun place for groups as well as couples. It was loud (but not obnoxious), the owners are friendly, flexible and 'roll with the evening' as it progresses - and prices are extremely reasonable for what they offer. During our stay the owner mentioned their recent write-up in Wine Spectator (which focused on Bordeaux) which we'd missed. We've been to many wine bars, and you just don't often get to experience the depth of wines with reasonable pours at reasonable prices in an intimate, fun setting. Good food, too!
