It was a bit like having your own chateau in the city. 2 floors of a building giving a bedroom and lounge upstairs and a kitchen and dining area downstairs. The shower and basin are in an en-suite cubicle just 2 metres from the bed - (actually a great idea) but to get the toilet you had to descend a spiral staircase. It was fully equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Bed firm but very comfortable and linen spotless. Good towels and dish washing accessories. There were numerous lights which helped to highlight some 'modern art' not to my taste but pretty amazing.
Heating was comfortable and little noise from the busy street outside, especially at night when the inner dividing doors could be closed. Don't forget the 2 balconies opening onto the longest pedestrianised shopping street in Europe!
We found the location to be excellent if you are reasonably mobile. Supermarket 10 seconds away. Airport bus 10 mins. Main train station 20 mins. Great fresh food market 12 mins. Tourist sites - churches, architecture etc 10 mins.
Great communication on booking and before arrival. You will be met by someone with the key and a tour of the facilities. Note you will also have to pay a refundable deposit to cover damage
Only downside I can think of - spiral staircase to go to the toilet in the middle of the night and front door key was a bit sticky.
I would happily recommend.
