By coincidence we stumbled onto this small restaurant.

As the weather was good we took a table outside.
We had 2 different menus, which were great quality, local products and excellent preparation.

Nice and efficient staff made the meal one to remember.

2 standard menus, one €15, the other €19 as well as an a la carte. Great variety of dishes to choose from and the standard of food was superb. Tried a few other restaurants, but this was the best by far for price.

We experienced great service (servers that smiled at us, seemed happy to help) and we really enjoyed the food. The 14,90 menu was huge! There were lots of choices and we couldn't believe how much food we were getting for such a reasonable price. I had a chevre salade which was easily one of the best goat cheese salads I've ever eaten, followed by a very flavorful bavette (steak) with fries. My friend had a large bowl of vegetable soup and the bavette. For dessert, we ordered sorbet and a piece of apple crumble.

We were in Bordeaux just for one night and didn't fancy going too far from the hotel to eat. This place is very central, staff were really friendly and helpful, food was great: massive portions of "moules" (it was supposed to be just a starter, but it was so filling!), with cream and herbs...delicious! Desserts were also nice.
