Adagio Bordeaux Gambetta

The room was extremely spacious with a kitchen and bathroom. Extremely clean and modern decor. Location was fantastic - at the edge of old town so easily walkable to the quai and other sights. I spent one month staying at all sorts of accommodations at this price rage (in France, Spain, Italy) and this is by far the best value for what I paid. I will definitely stay here again.

Compared to the other hotels in the area this is a relative bargain.
It was €97, and the room was huge with a kitchen area and a large desk.
Unfortunately the wifi wasn't working, but I didn't need it so wasn't too concerned.
Location is great, just on the city centre edge so plenty within walking distance.
Breakfast was fine if you like bread and crossiants. Will stay again if I want to be in Bordeaux central.

The apartment is in a great location and is perfect if you are planning a driving holiday as there is a public carpark right in the park in front of the Adagio, and the apartment also have a secured underground carpark available.

Short walk away from the centre of Bordeaux town and is also right next to a shopping centre which is very handy.

Only down side is that the air conditioning was not really adjustable and the heat was too hot for the night. I ended up getting ill from the high temperature and the uncomfortable sleep unfortunately.

I didn't find the Adagio concept very appealing. Room is furnished with very cheap and uncomfortable furniture and the kitchenette area is very limited and the room smelt of a previous guest cooking. Staff was extremely unfriendly. Hotel's underground car park was full - I would not recommend this hotel if you're travelling by car. Will not stay here again.

Short taxi from main station. Short walk to bus to airport. Staff were helpful, speaking English (unlike many restaurants in Bordeaux). We appreciated the facilities, using the gym, sauna and laundry facilities. Room was comfortable and had small kitchenette. A pleasant stay.

Good hospitality and courtesy of the staff. Boasting a prime location in the heart of Bordeaux city center. Very useful the presence of the mall Meriadek next to the hotel Adagio. Good quality / price ratio. Possibility of the hotel car park. Breakfast is not included in the room price. Paid to perte is a little expensive. I will stay at the Hotel Adagio during a next stay in Bordeaux.

I stayed here for 4 nights in April 2013. I booked a studio for 3 people as the price was so reasonable and I got a really nice big room. The bathroom was excellent with a big bath and separate shower cubicle. The bathroom also had an excellent cloth hanging mechanism if you need to do some washing. The room also came with kitchenette but I did not use it, other than to use the fridge to keep cold drinks. The room faced a square and was well insulated; I slept very well and was not disturbed by any noise from the street. The free WiFi to access the internet worked without any problems.

The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk into the city centre and just around the corner from a major shopping centre with a large supermarket and some places to eat. Breakfast in the hotel was convenient and OK.

I travelled by train. The tourist centre by the railway station advised me to get a tram to hotel. This involved one change and a little walk. When I left, the hotel staff advised me to take the bus from right around the corner, which meant a very short walk and no changing of buses.

I really liked this hotel. Because my length of stay was 4 nights the price of the room did not come with daily cleaning (which was available if required at extra cost). It was one of my cheapest hotels in France during this holiday. For the size of the room and great bathroom it was excellent value. I would be happy to get such a room anywhere I travel. I would certainly stay here again.
