On the good side - the hotel is situated at right be the old city so the location for a day's excursion in Bordeaux is very good. The hotel also offers an underground parking (15EUR/day) which is also convenient as parking in this area is scarce to non-existent. The rooms are big and spacious.
On the bad side - our rooms was full of musquitos! We woke up in the morning with several bites and counted at least 10 mosquitos in the room. I don't think this is typical of this hotel, nevertheless - be warned...

Room Tip: There seems to be an older part and a newer part to the hotel. Try getting a room in the newer (our room - 604 was in the newer part)

This is a polarising property. Unusual room with furniture on wheels seemingly strange at first and toilet and bathroom separated (eg. Odd for washing hands). Room was quite large, good location and service from front desk excellent, particularly Franz. The reason we didn't rate four stars is there seemed to some issues with housekeeping. Hard floor felt dusty/gritty on arrival and shower needed bleach or similar to deal with mould. One day our service was missed and a bag of dirty laundry left in the lift lobby on our floor for a day - almost like housekeeping walked off the job! Seriously uncomfortable pillows too. Our recommendation is to request a room facing the courtyard. Not a big deal as double glazing is pretty effective but drunks were noisy on the street Saturday night.

The staff, location and room excellent. We were delighted with the internet and printing facility available. Everything was as advertised would stay there again and would recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Bordeaux.

We only stayed one night but would happily have stayed for longer. Arriving by train from Paris we took a taxi (23E), the bus no 16 brings you close for 1.40E. Reception staff were friendly and efficient with good English, very good restaurant recommendation. Our room on the 4th floor was large with three wardrobes, iron and board, large bed with good linen ( pillows small , but we found extras in the wardrobe). There was a single bed which doubles as a sofa, table and two chairs, TV,phone and safe. The kitchen area has a sink with sponge and washing up liquid, microwave, cooktop, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, saucepan and frying pan. Cooking utensils, cutlery glasses and crockery for four. No oyster shucker but hey am yet to find a place that provides them! Bathroom, ours was a disabled set up (probably because my husband hobbled in on crutches!). Shower, toilet and basin with hand wash gel and hair and body wash provided, good towels, tissues. Very clean throughout. Post office 1 minute away next door and large shopping mall 2 minutes walk. I also noticed a Picard under the building at the back, fabulous frozen foods excellent value and quality. A little noisey in the morning but it is in the centre of town and we slept with the windows open. Air con in room just fine and can be adjusted yourself . Ohers have mentioned its convenient location. Very happy with this aparthotel

Room Tip: Rooms away from the road maybe quieter?

Room was spacious; room & bathroom were clean; comfortable bed; good location only 5 min walk from pedestrian area of city. Toilet and bathroom were at opposite ends of room. Bathroom had saloon type doors through which light shone on the bed if either of us used the bathroom during the night: why do hotels think this is a good idea? Couldn't seem to adjust the temperature of the room: it was on the cool side and at all times it sounded as though a gale was blowing into the room. Boring decor lacking in comfort: hard floor, poor quality curtains, uncomfortable sofa which was probably better as a bed. Didn't encourage us to spend much time in the room, which was ok for a few days but would not have been for longer.
