First, Strasbourg is the most beautiful place I stayed in all France and Germany. Second, although the hotel and rooms are not too big, this is the place for one night. It is 2 minutes walking distance from the train main station. The WiFi is excellent. Free breakfast and is really good, fresh food, bread, juice etc. The service front dezk spectacular. Really near of the town, no car or transportation is required. We luv it. We do not like graffiti on walls, it is part of decoration. Take the boat, is better than in Paris, go to Petit France, is beautibul and have lunch with the river in the side. BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Firstly Location: Great, only 100 metres from the Railway & 200 m from Rue Grand & 350 m from Petite France. Reception & House staff very friendly & efficient. Cold Breakfast is included in tariff and of a high quality including freshly squeezed orange juice (as you wait). Room has quadruple glazed window completely eliminating the noise from the busy street below. Window can be opened. Sleep quality is excellent with new beds & extra pillows. Rooms are small with a quiet air cond. Bathroom was very clean, though on the small side. TV with BBC CNN Bloomberg & 50+ French channels. No Tea & Coffee in room, though available 24 hrs a day from Guest lounge. Free Wi-Fi, no in room safe! Whole hotel is being repainted at present. Elevator is very small, two person size.
Arriving by Train in Strasbourg, you won't need a taxi as it is just a two minute walk to the Ibis in Rue du Maire Kuss. Don't try to share the elevator here with anyone who is obese, as it is nearly as small as the shower in the room, but that is where the negatives end as this is real value for money for anyone who wants to spend a couple of low cost, value for money nights in this great historic city. The location is great, with a McDonalds, Carrefour and Petite du Jeneur restaurant within a few metres. I paid just 70 euros per night for a well apointed, no frills room with a comfortable double bed and a view. Want to save? Stay at this Ibis!
About 150meters away from Strasbourg Railway station, it's location is ideal for those who want to explore the region using the city as a base. The staff is very efficient, helpful & easy to communicate with ( French / English). The rooms may be tiny but are well appointed & one doesn't miss anything. The place is very well maintained & squeaky clean. The restaurant served simple yet thoroughly satisfying breakfast. The overall decor if the hotel is very contemporary chic & covers up the overall tightness of space. The city centre is around 15 minutes walking distance. Carrefour is just across the street. I'd like to strongly recommend this hotel to people who are travelling light & without children.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night and was there for sightseeing. The hotel is very good and enjoyed the stay.
1. Excellent location...near downtown and across the river.
2. Rooms were nice and clean.
3. Breakfast is complimentary and quite a good spread of good to choose from.
4. Cordial staff and were able to speak little English.
1. The room I stayed didn't have the front view.
2. Parking is not included and need to park in the nearby underground pay parking lot. The front desk told that there is a discount card but eventually that card did not work.
3. Quite small rooms for the price paid.
4. Not many options in breakfast for vegetarians.
