This place is very simpel and the menu is very small. I got the burger and the taste was very neutral and the recommended nature white wine was not tasty. Simpel place, food and service.......

Thank Nolting

For 55.- Euro, we booked a new years eve dinner with amusement:

- Service: Friendly but not speaking English; we had to get the food and the drinks by ourself at the bar / buffet

- Food / Buffet: Most food was gone, before we had the chance to get some; the variety was poor; only fingerfood / aperitive snacks (no real dinner at all); the taste was more on a cantine level, rather than a mid class restaurant

- Drinks: Included were three glasses of vine / champagne; to buy a bottle sepperate, they only had one white and one red vine (at least for a fair price)

- Amusement? There was no real amusement. A guy came to play the accordeon for five minutes (to earn some cash), later on there was some music in the bar area.. That's it!

Conclusion: I can't make a conclusion how the "à la carte" dishes are, or how the daily service is. However we booked a new years dinner for the price of 55.- Euros, looking forward having a great dinner, what we didn't really have. For that price at least a normal dinner with service should be possible (or at least a real buffet), and not a "snackbar"

Happened to find this restaurant on trip advisor whilst searching for something else and realised it was near our hotel and bookable online in English (or google translate). Turned out to be such a gem we went back again during our three night stay!

Food was delicious, with decent servings and tasty desserts. I definitely recommend the filet mignon with quinoa risotto. They are vegetarian friendly and have meat free Monday promotions.

Definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the station area.

Thank Michelle B

We had booked this restaurant for a Saturday night, and when we arrived it was already quite busy, and quickly filled up.

We shared a chicken starter, and then both had steak in a burger with lovely home made chips. My steak was lovely but hubby's was a bit grissly. Besides that the meal was lovely. Friendly and efficient service and very reasonable bill of 68 euros which included a bottle of wine.

Marvelous dinner and at a very reasonable price. Just a few minutes from the train session, and perhaps 10 minutes walk from the cathedral. Appears to be owner-operated; all staff were very friendly and offered to explain each item in English. The meal started with a tomato gazpachio (on the house). I then had a salmon salad, followed by endnote de boeuf with fries (came with two sauces), and ended with expresso. Not any expresso, as it was accompanied by four sample size deserts. A pint size beer (their description) was just four euros. The whole meal was just 37 euros - a bargain anywhere.
The restaurant is on the corner of rue del Course and Petit rue de la Course; contains a bar where you can eat, standard tables as well as high tables along the window. There is also seating outside.
I will definitely be back next time in Strasbourg.
