Appart'City Strasbourg Centre
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Situated in a good location near the city center.
New hotel with all the comforts available. The tram stop is above the hotel.
Excellent value for money. Rooms very clean. There is no daily hotel service (change of towels, room cleaning, etc ...).To be considered for either a business trip or a trip with the family.

I have visited Strasbourg with a big delegation from Rethymno Crete attending the E-Cite Rethymno. Many of us were staying at the Appart'City and some of us are in the tourism industry (travel agents and hotel owners) We have choosed this place because it was one of the suggested from the leaders of the delegation.
At first i would suggest to them to have a sigh for the hotel because they only have a small sticker at the door and either the taxi drivers couldn't find the place.
The rooms where very well equipt (except the really narrow beds) and clean but for the rate they ask 107 -150 € without breakfast they should have more often service. We stayed 5 days and we had no service at all. We didn't use the internet connection at the room because it was only Ethernet and we both had smart phones and tablets and that was useless.
We never had breakfast over there because for that price (9€ per person) you could have something much better at the city centre.
The next time that i will visit Strasbourg i will look for something else because i am sure that you can get a better deal for that money.

I stayed by myself in the one-bed studio apartment. I arrived two hours early but they still gave me my room straight away. The rooms are basic but pleasant, the kitchen is well equipped and you can tell everything is pretty new. It's a very short walk to the tourist section, and a tram directly outside will take you almost directly to the European institutions in about 20 minutes.
My only minor gripe is that for the internet, I had to ask at the reception for the ethernet (no wifi in the room), and then it was quite slow (and if you don't keep the login screen open, I tended to get disconnected). Because of the format of the place, cleaning is only weekly and actually I don't think my room was cleaned during my four night stay, but I don't fault it for this because I wanted self-catered.

Overall, it's a very convenient place to stay, with friendly multilingual staff. I highly recommend it for a trip to Strasbourg, and I'd probably stay here again if I came back.

Nice new clean rooms/mini apartments. Although the location is not really close to restaurants etc, it is a 10-15 min walk to the main tourist area. It was also a little tricky to find as we drove up as their signs are very small. Wifi worked in room. Staff were great and very helpful with a good restaurant recommendation. All in all, I would recommend Appart'city in Strasbourg.

At the time of my stay, this hotel was practically brand new. It was super clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities (kitchenette with utensils, lots of storage space, fancy bedside lights, HD TV, etc). The staff were amazing throughout our stay and couldn't do enough to help us.

I only have one complaint - no wifi! There was wifi reception in the lobby, but there was no seating whatsoever so it was pretty useless. Internet was available via ethernet, but when a lot of people (including myself) travel with smart phones and tablets instead of laptops, this service was no help whatsoever.

Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this hotel. There's a tram stop right outside and the area is quiet and safe.
