Good size apartment for the 3 of us. For a change the bed settee was very comfortable.Main bedroom spartan in furnishings but comfortable bed and fresh clean linen. The mini kitchenette area was well stocked and clean. Best of all we had a balcony which was great for soaking up the afternoon and evening sun between walking trips. Will use again and happy to recommend to friends.Easy walking distance to old town. Good transport links and easy to find with parking available.Good value for money.

Room Tip: Request a balcony.

I stayed for one month in a appartment of the hotel. It was very good and clean. It is a new hotel and real value for mony. The staff is friendly and you can take the tram close to the hotel to the centre (few minutes).

We stayed for two nights (4 adults, one child) and had reserved two studios. The staff at reception upon arrival was cheerful, friendly and helpful. There was enough parking in a locked compound as well as underground parking (max. height in the underground garage = 1.80 m) and at 8 Euro very reasonable. The rooms are very clean and new. The double bed was narrower than expected (140 cm), so the child sleeping with the parents was a bit of a challenge. If you are travelling with a child, make sure to reserve a triple room or apartment instead. The studios are ok for short stays but don't offer much comfort: there are only two hard plastic chairs in each room. The kitchenette with the fridge is a definite plus. TV has a vast number of French channels, several German channels but non in English or Italian. There is a free internet connection in the room (connection cord supplied) but no WiFi. The bathroom is spacious but the shower with its shower curtain is not very well made: the curtain is too thin; too long and therefore constantly sticking to places it should not. It was hard to shower without flooding the bathroom. On the plus side: The rooms are well insulated and hardly any noise penetrates. The air condition was in perfect working order and not as noisy as some. As we enjoy a good breakfast, we were a bit disappointed: there were no breakfast meats and not even a hard boiled egg in sight. Also, only white bread and only canned fruit were available. Also, the coffee pot (while upgraded to two – probably due to the customer complaints) could have been replenished more often. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and the proximity to the old town is a definitive plus. If you are looking for a place that is fairly central, quiet and reasonably price as well as clean, this is it!

Room Tip: Rooms with balcony are overlooking the court yard

I stayed in this aparthotel for twelve days because of a conference at the Universite de Strasbourg (IRMA), which is a 35 minute walk, which is reasonable. The hotel itself is quite new, very clean, and mostly quiet, although I had a room facing Wasselonne and there was a bit of noise, especially of Friday. There are other rooms not facing the street so choose those if possible.

I found the bed comfortable, and there is air conditioning if it gets hot. For a hotel room in Europe it's a decent size. The bathroom is a shower-only type thing, but comfortable and fine, though it's a bit cramped with two people, so romantic showers might be a bit tight.

Perhaps the best thing about this place is the kitchen. Since I stayed for so long I didn't want to spend much money on eating out so the kitchen was great. It had more than enough dishes and cutlery, along with three pots, a frying pan, various knives, a cutting board, ladle, spatula, glasses, and cups.

As for the kitchen equipment: there were two stovetop burners, a microwave, a hot water kettle, a fridge, and a coffee-maker. All of this worked well and was clean and new, except I cannot comment on the coffee-maker since I never used it. The nearest good grocery store is probably the U-Express where I did most of my shopping; the fridge is a decent size and can store some meat, eggs, milk, fruits, and water (though the water is safe to drink).

Overall cooking was not too difficult, though the kitchen is a bit cramped so washing dishes needs a bit of creativity. I had to use towels to make spots for drying some of the dishes.

The internet service was good, but was not working for the first day and a bit. However, after this it worked. The speed isn't great, and sometimes YouTube stalled. Furthermore, the hotel has a 2.5Gb limit and you have to get a new code, albeit for free, to get another quota. Also, the code only works with one device, so if you want to access the internet using your computer and cellphone, you will have to spoof your MAC address to do this (not a problem, I only used one device).

The only real problem of this hotel is that during the first two days, my room was saturated with whatever extremely strong cleaning solution they use. I kept the gigantic window open for a long time and it took a while for it to dissipate, but if you stay near the window (the bed was near the window), then it shouldn't be too bad.

I never tried the breakfast.

The hotel staff is friendly and they all speak English, and one of the women at the desk had an amazingly pretty accent.

Room Tip: Try to get one NOT facing Wasselonne.
