This hotel is a five star hotel with a four star rating!! Its simply wonderful! Our room was quite spacious, staff were really fiendly, and breakfast was excellent! Location is superb, as it is exactly at the centre, only five minutes walk from a shopping square and the tram station.. Only negative thing is that bathroom door did not have a lock..however we had a bath and a shower, so as you can imagine even the bathroom was spacious! Will definately be back:) thank you!

This hotel has a great location in the centre of Strasbourg, near the shops and the old town, with friendly staff and great parquet flooring. But apart from a comfortable bed, I think it is rather expensive for what it actually offers in terms of comfort.

We stayed one night and chose the hotel for its central location. It was fine but we found the hotel bar very unwelcoming (harsh lights, no-one there). However it did the job fine and the breakfast was good. Two public car parks nearby and an overnight stay cost under 5 Euros after the hotel discount.

Close to train and city centre. Staff were good - no complaints here. Wickedly great store next door that sold amazing charcuterie, chocolate (and wine of course). Wish I had enough time to stay a few extra days....

This hotel has a great location in the centre of Strasbourg, near the shops and the old town, with friendly staff and great parquet flooring. But apart from a comfortable bed, my room was a huge disappointment -- it smelled of drains, it was small (though cleverly designed), a bit on the shabby side, and the only toiletries were plastic soap dispensers (in the WC and the shower cubicle; there was no bath), which were not easy to use. There were no facilities in the room for making tea. Breakfast was OK, but I wondered what exactly Hannong has done to earn its four stars. I was glad that I was staying for only one night.

Room Tip: Ask to see the room first.

We stayed here for a long weekend before Christmas, I booked direct with the Hotel on line instead of using a hotel booking site. And found this to be of great advantage as I had to change a few things and they were very helpful and always replied very quickly to my E mails.
As in all the other reviews the Hotel is in a great position for visiting Strasbourg and is very central to all areas, parking is just around the corner to the hotel, and you get a discount from the hotel on the parking fee. With the car park there is a one way in and a one way out and these are the same way, so can be a bit confusing when you first get to the car park as you think you are going in the exit.
The room we had was a club room, which we found spacious, modern but homely and very clean.
The breakfast is half price if you book through the hotel itself, I was tempted to eat out for breakfast as there is numerous places to have a coffee and Croissant, but we were not disappointed at all, and the food they serve is of very high quality and the breakfast room is worth eating in as well as the breakfast staff who were always very welcoming and courteous. We would definitely stay here again if we were to go back to strasbourg.
We were able to turn our radiator up or down as required so we could have the room at what temperature we wanted.
