Stayed for the forst time in this property for 4 nights.
Location was perfect. Alas, the one bedroom apartment I occupied has seen much better days.
Cracked floor tiles, dirty stained carpetting in the bedroom and living room, and heating vents that
were thick with dust. The soiled carpetting evoked smells of what the previous occupants have been
cooking or heating up and it certainly was not very pleasant.
I made a serious mistake of overlooking the fact that this property does not have airconditioning and
eventhough the property provides a column fan, it does not do much good as it only shifts the hot
air around.
That said, the one bed room apartment offers all the comforts that one needs and had I visited in
winter, I probably would have a more positive review. I get the impression this property is geared for
visitors for the colder months as there are more than suffcient heaters in the apartment.

-You were kind enough to share your experience and we would like to thank you. Your comments are extremely important as they provide a motive for continuous improvement.

We have taken good note of all points you highlighted about the apartment and informed the Housekeeping. This lack is not usual in our residence and it is not acceptable for us.
We do apologize for the inconvenience.
We don't have air conditioning but we provide in each rooms a fan.
Hoping to have the pleasure to welcoming you back soon and make your stay more enjoyable.

Many restaurantes in the streets below the hotel.
No AC but there's heating for the cold days.

Clean rooms, good location and kind staff. The hotel has a car parking area and it is pretty useful. We stayed for 2 nights but nothing went wrong. In our room the toilet and bathroom are separated. I personally don't like that but it is still comfortable.

Traveled to Strasbourg for an event in April. We booked at this hotel based on recommendation of organizer. We are happy with the experience

Citadines is an easy 10 minute walk from train station and a mere 2min from Place Kleber and 5min from Cathedrale. Hotel is on a narrow road with limited street parking, but the hotel has a paid parkade underground.

The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful. Keep mind that the check-in desk is closed after midnight. If arriving late make sure the arrange with them ahead of time.

The hotel has no restaurant but does have a breakfast room where you can opt to purchase breakfast. The offerings are very complete (drinks, fruits, cereals, bread, jams, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, boiled eggs, yogurt). Breakfast is free for toddlers so that came in handy.

We requested a 1-bedroom apartment which was the correct choice for a 3-night stay for a family of 3. While decor may not be modern chic, the apartment is comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The kitchenette comes with all the needed dishware, utensils, pots and glasses. Very convenient for longer stays. The unit layouts are posted on the hotel's website and are pretty accurate. WiFi is free. We had trouble connecting at first but it was probably our computer. A couple of retries is all it took to get it going.

When booking, consider obtaining a free membership from the management company (Ascott Residence). This will give you access to discounts and special offers. If your dates are fixed, keep an eye for advanced booking rates as they can be bargain. I saved 30 euros per day by committing 30 days early.

Citadines will be the our first choice on future trips to Strasbourg.
