We were a group of 21 booked in this hotel for 4 nights ....did'nt expect much from a Novotel Hotel but the staff & everything in this hotel was absolutely amazing !!
Our entire experience from checking in to checking out was really easy and smooth. On our first night few of us ate in the coffee shop/restaurant and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service we received . This just followed on each day at every breakfast which was served smoothly by just 2/3 staff, the selection on the buffet table was not lacking anything speciality breads....great pastries....boil fresh eggs....lovely bacon & sausages....mushrooms...scrambled eggs ...pancakes excellent coffee plus fantastic selection of teas...with fresh fruit & fruit salad..not forgetting the cereals and juices etc.The hotel on the whole was very clean, bedrooms were spacious and clean with tea making facilities (not common in Europe) the location is superb in the shopping mall and 5 mins walk from the other main shops and old city....the rates were a bit on the high side for a Novotel but worth every penny. Highly recommend it.

Nice location adjacent to the river and a short 5 minute walk to center of town. There is a mall underneath which has nice stores and the ubiquitous Paul Bakery which has pretty good desserts and sandwiches. The rooms are quite large and modern. Wonderful modern bathroom. The staff is friendly and thee is free wifi in every room. The hotel has a fitness rom on the top floor which provides nice views of the city I recommend this hotel for a nice stay

Well positioned just outside the old city and next to a shopping centre the Novotel provides good value for money. If you are driving it is a bit difficult to find as the entrance is via a section of the shopping centre's car park.

Ideal location
Decent size and clean room
Nice breakfast
Budget friendly
Cheap and convenient underground parking (22€ for 24hrs) although you could manage to park in the streets nearby
Would recommend to ask for a room in the upper floors to avoid noise of a nearby club.

This hotel is very central located. It is only three minutes away from "Place Kleber" (one of the big central Places in Strasbourg) and eight minutes by footto the central station. If you want to stay in a central, reasonable priced hotel, this hotel is a good choice. If you arrive by car you will have concentrate to find the entrance to the garage. After having parked your car you have to enter the hotel through a narrow not very friendly isle which is not a good entree to a hotel!
The staff is very friendly. The reception staff speaks english, a little german and french of course. Our room was located on the seventh floor. It didnt have a nice view. It was not spacious. After pulling out the bed in the sofa, the room was packed. The furniture is quite new and the queensize bed was good, clean and comfortable. The WC is devided from the bathroom in a very small seperate room. It was clean but the smell through the ventilation system wasnt very agreable. A toilet brush was missing!? The bathroom itself was small but functional. The shower provided nice warm and enough hot water. But too much to be hold back by the showerpane. Because of this the floor got wet everytime while taking a shower. The room was equipped with a new flat screen tv, free wlan (!), minibar and safe. All in all the room has been remodeled in the french way: everything functions but some how the paint on the wall keeps everything together and you dont want to know what hides behind the last layer of paint... The breakfast was ok but nothing to drop dead. The room it was served in is long and narrow and not very cosy! For 15 € it is nearly a fair treat. It was very nice that the kids could have breakfast for free! The checkout was friendly like the checkin. The additional citytax is 1,50 € per catipta per night. There was no offer or explanation what we could get for the money - exept that it has to be paid all over France (?). Ok!?
The parking fee was moderate 11€ per car per night. The hotel is in a big building in which a small shopping mall is situated. This cold be an other reason to book here.
All in all it was fair but we were not highly pleased. The hotel has aged and is in some means worn out. For a short trip we would book here again.
