Owner description: Strasbourg's historic neighborhood is a serene collection of cobblestone roads, fine restaurants and 16th-century buildings.

A must see attraction in Strasbourg. It’s a very beautiful neighborhood,of Strasbourg .
Right next to the city center, next to the river Stras, as you cross the movable bridge. The bridge moves when the boat “bateau mouche” crosses the river. Petite France is so beautiful, with the old colorful houses, full of flowers even during winter, many picturesque small squares, cafes, restaurants. Petite France is so beautiful and worth at least one visit, day and night.
We were in Strasbourg for Christmas, and Christmas decoration, lights in all colors, and Christmas markets, made it like a fairy tale.

Nice small shops and plenty of other buildings, bridges etc. to walk around for at least a morning or afternoon.

Wonderful wandering around the streets not knowing what to expect. Especially beautiful at dusk and evening with the lights. Delightful places to eat, shops to peek into and museums.

This is a don't miss for Strasbourg. Take a stroll (or maybe two, one in the daytime and one at night) through narrow cobble stone streets lined with half-timbered buildings. There are plenty of restaurants and lots of locals as well as tourists enjoying the views. And if you liked this area, try also to visit Colmar, which has even more of the same and is a bit cheaper as well.
