Beautiful area, well worth visit. Picture postcard pretty. Plenty to see, lots of quaint shops & restaurants.

It does have very nice architecture but it doesn't live up to the title of the most beautiful part of Strasbourg.

Beautyfull area in Strasbourg. As you walk along you feel as if you were in a land of fairytail. Beautyfull buildings, flowers everywhere, water and a charming atmosphere.

We lodged at Le Bouclier D'Or in La Petite France last august and we really enjoyed our visit. From there, you can do the water tour, walk to the Cathedral in this old part of Strasbourg. You can do everything by walking, best place to be in Strasbourg.

Stroll the cobbled-stoned streets, stop for a coffee under a 300 years old London Plane tree, drift pass on a canal cruise, sit in the park and watch and listen to happy children on the carousel squealing with delight, watch the bride and bridegroom posing for their precious photos, cross cute bridges draped with summer blossoms spilling out of their containers...all of this in La Petite France. An unforgettable memory of a wonderful summer afternoon.
