“Great Area of Strasbourg”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

So much in this area. great for strolling around, and many resturants to chose from. it was fun to watch the boats in the locks. At night kayakers waited for the tour boats to come up. so they could go down.

“Très romantique”

You should not leave Strasbourg without visiting La Petite France. It's like going back in time. Nice little shops and cosy restaurants.

“La Petite France - bring a camera!”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

La Petite France is a beautiful part of Strasbourg full of timber-framed buildings along the river. Definitely worth a visit - take a camera!

“Lovely, also romanti and colourful”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

La Petite France is a historical district in Strasbourg in the Grand Ile de Strasbourg, part of The National Humanity Heritage UNESCO. His name comes from the "hospice of the syphilitic'' which was built in the late fifteenth century on this island, to cure persons with syphilis, then called the "French disease". During the Second War it has been distroied in totality and was rebuilt trying to done it with his original arhitecture. If you go to Strasbourg you have not to rate this place. It is wonderful in all seasons. In winter Strasbourg is one of the European Christmas City and i could honestly say (it is my point of view) that it is more beautiful than other European Christmas City. I am in love with Strasbourg. It is a nice trip with familly, couple, friends, alone or business.
