This hotel is in an awesome location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free outdoor parking was great. We thought the bed was very hard, and we just don't like the two twin beds together, rather than one large mattress. The room was beautifully decorated, and quite large.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Our room was very spacious. The hotel itself has a modern decor, with a slight rustic look. The hotel preserved and exposed the wooden beams inside the rooms.

The hotel is walking distance from the Strasbourg train station. We flew in and took the train from the airport to Gare du Strasbourg. If you are flying in, head to the train station adjacent to the airport and take it until the first stop. Buy the train ticket inside the airport terminal. You can pay by credit card or cash. It is best to have Euro coins to use on the train ticket kiosk.

I booked the hotel room from Expedia. You can get a better price if you book it and pre-pay. Expedia has an option to pay at the hotel when you check in.

The hotel has free wifi - just get the wifi code at the lobby. You need a code per device.

I would stay at this hotel again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room next to the river. It has a view of the water as well as the plaza.

Stayed one night had two rooms, both 1st floor with balcony area decked with geraniums.
Excellent rooms, roomy and scrupulously clean, separate bath and WC, safe, minibar and plenty of wardrobe space.
Porters most helpful, parked car in public car park adjacent for no charge don't bother booking a car park space, this car park is free on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Didn't eat at hotel, plenty of restaurants within 5 minute walk. old town 2minute walk, hotel is adjacent to the old locks.
Excellent cafe across the swing bridge does breakfasts at €5.95 if you fancy a walk
Would recommend this hotel and would return, Strasbourg is beautiful too.

The hotel is located at the entrance of the pedestrian area on the Ill with a beautiful view from the rooms or from the hotel restaurant. We had booked the deluxe room to fit our family of 3, and what we got is a room annexed to a medium size living area where the 3rd bed (couch bed comfortable and large) was fit. The living area had another couch and desk where you could work comfortably (in case..). and another TV, so kids can watch a different program if there is time for that...
The rooms were adequately cleaned, the bathroom with a whirlpool bath and separate WC and the internet connection free and with a good signal (at least from the second floor where our room was). A/C worked absolutely fine despite the heat (32-36 when we where there).
The hotel has a private parking should you have a car, it is also located near a parking place where the concierge can also park your car should you choose to park it there.
The breakfast has a nice selections of cereals, cheeses, sausages and pastries and all the staff are particularly nice and welcoming. The reception desk staff are professional and helpful and would handle your queries perfectly.
The only problem we encountered was the fact that the hot water could turn cold in the shower for a minute only until hot water kicks in again...it happened 3 times during our 4 nights stay, but after the first surprise that didn't bother us anymore...We didn't even reported that.
I will strongly recommend this hotel for your stay in Alsace. We all enjoyed it, for the location, the staff and comfort.

We found this place after searching on the internet for a place to stay in Strasbourg, we were not disappointed.
It more than lived up to our expectations, and being in the historic part of Strasbourg, it was ideal for our 2 night stay.
It was clean and comfortable, the staff helpful, car parking was extra (as often the case) but secure.
The views and surrounding canals were something else, and located well within walking distance of the old center of the town.
My wife and I had dinner there one evening and it was very good, although quite expensive.
Definitely a hotel worth revisiting next time we are in Strasbourg.

We stayed there for our visit to the Christmas Markets in Dec2012 and were not disappointed.

Our impeccably clean corner room over-looked the canals and was quite comfortable with a sitting room, separate foyer, chaise lounge area for reading, bathroom with both a walk-in shower and whirlpool bath, separate W/C (note: not connected to the main bathroom which can be uncomfortable), built-in closets, and a bedroom with a comfy queen size bed.

The modern lobby was decorated with show owls on pine trees in an understated way. These owls are beautiful and the ones in the markets cannot compare (looked and looked...) They should sell the owls on site.

The food served is quite good but expensive. Your best bet from room service is the charcuterie platter otherwise it's almost 30 euro for an entree.

The champagne bar is a nice touch but does not offer an extensive "by the glass" selection. We ordered two glasses of the special offering for the evening and were surprised by a bill for almost 90 euro. Of course, our server never mentioned the price per glass and we would of been better off ordering a bottle off of the regular wine list.

Overall, it's a fabulous location in historic Strasbourg where you can enjoy a comfortable room away from any noise and walk to all of the sites.

Would I stay again? Yes.

Room Tip: A corner room overlooking the canal
