“You must see the clock inside”
Reviewed December 4, 2013

We were able to observe when the giant clock in the Catheral struck 12! A MUST See as the characters that begin to move is awsome.
It is truly one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Europe.

“Very nice”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

Beautiful cathedral but quite similar to many others in Europe. The thing that sets it apart from others are the stained glass windows. In my opinion they rival the ones at the cathedral in Chartes. Maybe better.
We did not climb the stairs to the top. Heard the view was great.

“The cathedral”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

The church itself is just marvelous. Its unique architecture brings it in the first row of Cathedrals in Europe. It is one of the most breathtaking churches you have ever seen. In the interior do not miss the clock and do not forget to visit the campanile (steeple), which offers incredible view to the city (if the visibility allows to do so...). Visiting Strasbourg, the cathedral is a must to visit. You just cannot miss it.

“Strasbourg cathedral and its spire”
Reviewed November 29, 2013

The cathedral had impressive doorways, stained glass and an astronomical clock. But the highlight for me was climbing the spire (328 steps) where, from the platform on the roof, you have magnificent views of Strasbourg old and new.

“Gorgeous Cathedral - worth a visit”
Reviewed November 28, 2013

Located directly in the pedestrian zone in the city center, the Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg is wonderful. The day I was there a few tourists were milling around and I sat for awhile just to soak up the serene ambiance and I heard monks chanting in the background. What a great moment!
