I loved this hotel. The price was correct. The building is 16th century so has a nice mix of history and modern comfort. Breakfast is good and you can eat on the terrace that is very nice and quiet. Rooms have everything you need and nice decorated. Good value for the price I paid (140 € for 2 people with breakfast).

We decided to stay at Cour Du Corbeau based on the Tripadvisor reviews. What a highlight this hotel is. So many things were just great starting with the impressively restored 16th century building to the service, the rooms and probably the best breakfast I have had in Europe. We were greeted by a guest as we arrived, 'You are going to love it here - it is just fabulous.' She was right!

Our room was very spacious, overlooking the courtyard and the design a modern contrast to the beautiful historic exterior. Bed was extremely comfortable and it was fantastic to have a large bath and all the mod cons. Breakfast was a real treat and the quality of the food fantastic. Loved the fresh fruit salad and bakery choices. This hotel is also in a fantastic location with everything you would want see closeby on foot. A big thank you to the hotel staff who were very friendly and helpful and the happiest hotel manager we have ever seen (why wouldnt he be?) A great stay and introduction to Strasbourg.

A tip - check out the Illumation Light Show at the Notre Dame Cathedal (on till Sep) and best intro to the city is to get on the Tourist boat just across the road from the hotel.

I can't think of a reason why this hotel isn't 5 stars. Great location, excellent service, modern rooms, classic building. What else can I say? Perfect!
My only criticisms are:
Fridge wasn't cold enough
Wine glasses too small in room
No ironing board/ iron

This exceeded our expectations (which were already high). Kind staff showed us to our room which was surprisingly large, even though we only reserved the most basic room. It was room #1, which I think was a handicapped room, even though we didn't ask for that specifically. AC in room made it good temp. Quiet, on the courtyard side, and a great location near all of the sights. Breakfast was included and was one of my favorite parts of the trip. Buffet with warm and cold food, really much more than we could want. Small tables outside in the courtyard to eat and waitress served coffee and juice. Highly recommend.

Average hotel but friendly and helpful staff. no hotel could be better located for sightseeing. Our breakfast was included and we ate in the outside patio...again friendly staff and good breakfast buffet;a stay here puts you in the arms of a surprisingly wonderful Strasbourg.

A well appointed hotel with tasteful decorations and comfortable furnishings. We stayed in a Junior Suite which allowed sufficient room for our family of four. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were large and soft. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. All staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is also in a great location within easy walking distance to sights and restaurants.

Once we had found this hotel it brings to life the cliche 'Hidden Treasure'. It is a little difficult to find, down a street with a bollard stopping you entering, but press the speaker and you are given access to the hotel where a worker awaits you move your car to a car park (€23 per day). Still the fascade of the hotel looks nothing special, but then, when you go inside, what a surprise.

The staff are wonderful. Because I mentioned it was my wifes birthday we had an upgrade to a junior suite. it was literally 10 metres from the reception/breakfast room and the courtyard where you could sit and have drinks surrounded by a 14th century hotel.

The exit from the courtyard brought you immediately onto the main ring road of the city. A bridge over the Ill took you directly into the old city. The cathedral was a 5 minute walk away, petite france, about 8 minutes in the other direction, and the tram systen was 100 metres down the street.

It isn't cheap, but then again neither is Strassbourg, but for a wonderful weekend well woth it.
