This is restaurant with hotel rooms upstairs. The rooms are a reasonable size and well appointed. Staff will carry your bags up stairs for you.
It's in the old historic part of town which is good for exploring this beautiful city. We didn't eat at the restaurant as there are so many options nearby.

The hotel is very small and only has 8 rooms. We had one at the top of the hotel which had slanting ceiling so not suitable for tall people. The bathroom was well equipped but again the ceiling was slanted and there was no shower curtain. The location was great for the Christmas markets and also close to the station so suited our needs. The room was too small to spend any time in it though.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and we were able to leave our bags in the sitting area after we had checked out. (Not locked away).
They do have dining facilities and breakfast, which is extra but we ate out.

I remember when we first went to this place with a group of friends about 10 years ago we were absolutely charmed by it localisation and food. However it hasn't sustained its level till today.
When we were there a couple of weeks ago half of the dishes on the menu were not available anymore and the service was , hm, strange. When you pay 30€ for a main course you really expect something special but the food was really average. Our bottle of white wine was just put on the table like we were at a friends kitchen table, they didn't give us any ice bucket although the wine wasn't cold enough. The lady owner behaves as if she was superior to her guests.

Strasbourg is your picturesque town and Hotel Chut is the perfect complement to it. Wonderful old French arquitecture mixed with contemporary design on an adorable block and delicious food. The staff is nice and very solicit. We stayed at a lovely room (2) with its own bathroom (a few rooms only have a shower and share a toilet, so ask first). We would come back for sure! Perfect romantic destination for a couple traveling through France!

The room did say it was the deluxe but it was quite small. Too small for a family but cozy for a couple. The hotel itself is traditional architecture and the staff is friendly. It located in a prime location, walking distance from the train station and downtown.
