The restaurant itself is very nice , located in the heart of the ancient part of the town . The enviroment recall the inner part of a boat from where the name then comes.
The staff is professional and the owner is very friendly and help you with the food and the wine , so everything good but the most exciting experience has been to taste the fish and chinoa cooked in bananian leaves , FANTASTIC !! and , as the owner said, I've became addicted

Thank oscar i

Small, elegant restaurant, located in Petit France district. Right after entry you feel like a sailor in a special room where in old, good days they used to eat together meals. However in La Cambuse quality of a furniture, overall design and first of all quality of served meals are by far better than in these old days. We ordered monkfish in a curry sauce and gambas in slightly hot tomato sauce. Both of meals were very tasty and nicely served. Together with a bottle of a local Pinot Blanc, this made our evening very succesfull :). But please remember to book a table in advance, as even in a regular week day, this place is fully occupied.

Strasbourg is certainly a beautiful city, but even it it wasn't it would be worth going there for this restaurant. Too bad that Strasbourg is so far East, but even so La Cambuse deserve the travel.
Everything is excellent : the place, the service, the wines and the food. Try the the tartare de crabe, the thon mi-cuit au saté, or anything else on the menu as everyone was delighted with his dish.
Congratulations to the chef and to the team !

Small and cozy restaurant decorated like a ship, almost all in wood. Make sure you reserve, because space is definitely limited!
The food is exquisite: fresh and creative (French-Asian fusion).
The service is attentive and fast.
Location is convenient, at the heart of Petite France, very close to the city center.
