Strasbourg is a surprising city, much more beautiful than I had expected. Hotel Adagio is centrally located near busy Place Kleber, within walking distance to many of the city's attractions. I had booked a studio apartment, but as the hotel was fully booked by the time I arrived, I was upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment. It was quite nice but despite the heat wave in Strasbourg in late September, the air-con was switched off centrally, so I was advised to open the windows at all times, which I did - it was not cool enough though. The hotel is a tad difficult to find and the taxis won't stop at its doorstep, but once you're inside, you have the whole of Strasbourg at your feet. Breakfast was OK, nothing to write home about. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Very good position downtown. The price - 200 hundred euros per night in studio - is exaggerated but we are in Strasbourg during the plenary of the European Parliament baby...so in all the hotels the price are almost doubled during this week. There is the Murphy bed if you like and it is easy to open but still...in a 200 hundred euros hotel you do not expect that. Breakfast is basic and it costs 11 euros extra. When there is no European Parliament plenary session the hotel costs almost the half. Internet connectivity is slow.

We had a studio apartment, the room is small but the space is very well planned out. It has a murphy bed which folds up to be a sofa, study table and well equipped kitchen. Hotel location is just a 2 minute walk to the L'Homme de Fer tram stop and close to all the shops. Despite the aparthotel is situated next to the tram line, we could hardly heard the tram at all. the aparthotel also has a small courtyard with colourful decor and gets plenty of sun, as I was there in summer, it was too hot to sit outdoors. Highly recommended.

We had a studio unit; it was roomy, very well designed and furnished. The instructions for the Murphy bed were fine, and we had no problems with it. The room faced a major street, but with the windows closed, one would not know that, the soundproofing was so good.
Strasbourg got very warm for several days during our stay, but the airconditioning worked well.
I hope the Adagio line expands, our experience here has put it at the top of our list to look for when searching for accomadations.
