Reception was friendly and efficient and the room was large with a balcony but it had a tired and dated feel. The bathroom was large but had a shower/bath with no screen. Two soaps and shampoo provided. The WC was separate and poorly ventilated. Breakfast was very comprehensive but with no fresh fruit and the croissant was dry.
The restaurant capitalised on the fact that it was almost the only place to eat in town at that time of year. The food was pleasant enough but quite expensive for that standard.
This was Day 5 of our 25 day trek through Les Vosges.
