Charming hotel, right value for the price, small room but well organised. Clean and quiet. Good position to visit Colmar! I suggest.

I stayed at Hotel Turenne for three nights and was very happy with the accommodation. Location was very good - just outside the busy city centre and easy walking distance to excellent restaurants and sites. The staff were more than excellent and went out of their way to respond to my needs. I stayed in a double room which was more than suitable and included a rather large bathroom for French hotels. It was very quiet room. I enjoyed the range of TV stations including a few in Swiss German which allowed me to test my language skills having been an exchange student in Switzerland over 20 years ago. The garage was also convenient and reasonably priced. I didn't make use of the bar at reception but it seemed to have a good range of drinks at reasonable prices. All in all I found the hotel very good and I have no hesitation in staying here again.

My husband and I spent two nights at this hotel and we were very pleasantly surprised. Our room and bath were immaculate. The front desk staff were helpful. The breakfast offerings were significant and well presented. The location is a very short and lovely walk to the old town. Coming by car, it was easy to locate and we were able to find free parking on the street. On the day we left it had snowed about four inches and our car was covered. One of the very nice women in the dining room got a small broom for my husband to use to clean the car off.
While it is not a luxury five star hotel, it was a delightful and memorable experince.

This hotel was a disappointment in all respects. The location is actually a couple of blocks away from the Petite Venice area, not as advertised. Parking on the street was extremely difficult all three days to find, and staff were unconcerned and unhelpful in that regard. We drove around sometimes for 40 minutes trying to find a spot. The room itself had a small bathroom and very uncomfortable beds with lumpy pillows and was not particularly clean. The breakfast buffet was so-so - bad coffee, a good selection of breads and buns, but the breakfast room was very full each morning with lots of jostling for space. The placements on the tables were dirty and just half-heartedly wiped off after the service. Staff were not friendly and usually didn't bother to look up from the desk when greeted. There seemed to be a large tour group staying at the hotel and this seemed to be the priority for staff, not the individual travellers. We liked the area but would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
