A particularly pretty part of Colmar - nice to walk through and view from the streets and bridges - but ought also be viewed from a boat.

Walked part of the canal and saw the colorful painted building and beautiful flowers along the canal. Maybe we did not explore more. Not much to do and see.

There are so many beautiful buildings, it's a Disney experience of a preserved medieval town. We managed to get a table at the bar in the picture and sat there admiring the lovely buildings opposite, the swans and boats gliding on the river and drinking wine. A perfect afternoon. A visit to this town is highly recommended!

Little Venice is a small area within the historic centre of Colmar but well worth a look. The whole of the centre is lovely and well preserved . Worth going in the little boat trip to understand a little of the history and definitely try the tarte flambé while you’re here.
