We were staying in Basel and decided to take the kids on a day trip to Colmar. Arrived to such a picturesque French town, history on every street and every corner . It's an easy place to walk around and you'll find something that really takes your breath away. I particularly liked Little Venice, and walked along the canal enjoying the architecture. We chose to eat at a little cafe on the water, just on the corner as you walked over the bridge. Not the greatest cafe in terms of service, but the view was worth the visit and the food wasn't too bad. The patisseries we ate in was lovely, and good coffee on a particularly cold day.
