“worth a try”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

this place looks a bit like a fast food type chain, however our meal was very good. Veal was well cooked and salad very generous. Service very efficient. Perhaps lackig a bit of character, otherwise ok.

“wasted money”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

Chose restaurant based on menu and appearance. Service was good- very pleasant waitress. When our main courses arrived, one of our party, who had ordered the veal, (priciest item on menu), found it extremely tough. We sent it back, but the waitress returned, said the chef said it was perfectly fine, and that there were toothpicks holding the meat together, this was the problem- and she brought a steak knife to cut the meat. It was beyond tough- it could hardly be cut even with the steak knife, and was very chewy. It was not eaten. The waitress brought us each a scoop of ice cream to make amends. When the bill came, the veal was still on, even though it had not been eaten. There was no way that we weren't going to pay for it! The bill, for four, was 199 euros- Definitely not worth the price. We've eaten a lot of veal in Europe, and this was unacceptable. When we were seated in the restaurant, the chef was in a heated dicussion with the couple at the next table over a food issue. They left mad. So did we. A waste of money. Many better places in Colmar

“There are so many better restaurants in Colmar”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

The pros: Good service, well located in front of the cathedral, huge portions
The contras: very average food: the foie gras was not very fresh _ tasted like foie gras that has been kept in the frig. for too long. Tasteless dishes. The hamburger is not pure beef, acording to the menu (au boeuf, and not pure boeuf) and to the waitress. ??????
Will not go there again

“Food OK, but unfriendly staff”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

The restaurant is located in the old town, and has a nice view. The food is OK, even though nothing special. Regarding the staff, I have to agree with the previous reviewers that it is quite unfriendly and unwelcoming. Next time, I would go somewhere else.
