“Nice alsatian meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2013

We went to this restaurant as recommended by local people in Colmar. We tried the speciality of the restaurant, nice Alsatian meal, dessert and wine. The staff who served us can speak English and was friendly too. It's worth a visit when in Colmar.

“Believe the better scores and not the poorer ones!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2013

Found this restaurant after walking a little way from my hotel. Reasonably busy for a Tuesday night. Service was welcoming, friendly and efficient. English speaking staff and English menu produced when my rusty French was noticed. Brasserie style with a nice atmosphere, candles etc. Food was fine - local wine, a good platter of local ham for Euros 6 and squid in a creamy sauce with rice. Overall good value, pleasant experience and I would go back without hesitation.

“Atmospheric, delicious food, reasonable price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

Please don't go by the picture at the top of this Tripadvisor section. This brasserie is wonderfully decorated. Full of atmosphere. The best service we had in Colmar. Food delicious and not silly prices.

“Theatre on a plate.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

A great meal, great service and the best red wine I have had.On our three night stay this was by far the best place we ate at. A little out the way from the main 'tourist' restaurants but well worth the visit. Have the Theatre Burger, its great.

“Informal and charming”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2013

Classic brasserie. Informal and friendly atmosphere. The waiter couldn't have taken more trouble - went through the wine list and set different Alsace whites throughout our choice of food. Food was good - Serrano Ham, Pikeperch and choucroute , creme brulee. Very pleasant and good value. This is not trying to be a fine dining expereience , it is trying to be an excellent Brasserie and it succeeds.
